About this role
The finance manager will play an important role in the organization’s funding strategy in order to obtain long-term financial security. Will be collaborating with other departments in order to develop budgets that will maintain the organization’s costs down. Finance manager will be involved in man again the functions of short- and long-term financial needs while enhancing CHOYCES strategy leading to business growth. They will also be helping with business plans for CHOYCES, LLC and the CHOYCES Academy Charter school application. Responsibility will also be carried into being in charge of keeping track of company funds and include in the book keeping system. They will help with strategic decisions to ensure the goals and vision of the organization are in alignment.

- Use financial modeling to simulate financial scenarios
- Present potential scenarios and outcomes to management team
- Manage the preparation and publication of departmental and organization financial documents
- Collaborate with management on development and execution of funding strategies
- Examine financial and legal documents to verify accuracy and adherence to financial regulations and acceptable financial principles
- Develop or recommend solutions for problems or situations
Skills and requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or related field required
- 1-2 years experience in a financial management position preferred
- Proven strategic planning experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Demonstrated creative and critical thinking skills
- Able to work on multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and presentation skills
