About this role

We’re seeking Grand Writing Interns to join our team to help research potential grant opportunities, draft and edit grand proposals and letters in inquiry, track submission deadlines, maintain a grant calendar, gather program data, organized documention for submissions, and collaborate with with project managers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain consistency in proposal writing by following company policies
  • Cross-reference solicitation documents (RFPs, RFIs, etc.)
  • Create organized writing outlines that are responsive to requirements
  • Develop, write, edit, and proofread content including proposal volumes, presentations, and project descriptions according to feedback.
  • Recommend continuous improvement initiatives to refine writing processes and techniques as appropriate
  • Offer practical solutions for improving the quality of the text, and ensure that information is engaging and conveyed with technical accuracy and clarity

Skills and requirements

  • High school diploma is required
  • Excellent writing and editing skills, with an eye for detail and accuracy
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask effectively while performing job duties, including the ability to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
  • Ability to effectively describe complex, technical solution details to lay audiences
  • Strong multitasking, organizational, and time management skills
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite, Internet, and Technical Research.
  • Create personalized digital portfolio
