Whereas the Tutor shall provide tutoring to the students in the specified content areas discussed with the parent remotely using one of the following platforms: Google Meet or Zoom.

Fees Payable to CHOYCES

No further fees shall be charged for preparation time or materials used of the Tutor. Payment must be made to any of the following:

Payment must be made the day before each session. Clients will receive a bill for service the day before the session.

Hourly - Payment must be made the day before each session. Clients will receive a bill for service the day before session.

Bundles - Half of payment is due before the first session. Second half is due on date indicated in the invoice.

Cancellation and Refund

Lessons not attended for any other reason by the student without giving 24 hours prior notice to the Tutor shall be charged at the full rate. Students may cancel a prepaid session before the scheduled time for reasons of a family emergency or sickness and receive a refund or apply any pre‐payment to a future session. If the Tutor cancels a session for any reason and at any time prior to the start of the session, Student will get a refund or apply that payment to a future session that the Tutor and Student agree upon.

Late Arrival and Change of Schedule

No adjustment to fees will be made for time lost due to the late arrival of students or if the session is terminated early because of the student. If a tutor arrives late, students will be compensated for extending a lesson by mutual agreement and by such an amount of time that was lost. The tutor will wait ten minutes from the time of the scheduled session for the student's arrival before considering that session canceled without prior notice and therefore subject to the terms set forth in the cancellation and refund policy.

Obligations of the Tutor

Tutor is expected to prepare prior to the lessons and will structure the lessons that are best suited for the student and optimize time for the benefit of the student. Information of the student will be kept confidential and other parties involved in the education of the student only if given permission by the student to do so. Tutors should not at any time complete any assigned classwork or homework on behalf of the student.

No Warranties

Nor C.H.O.Y.C.E.S or tutor guarantees any specific outcomes as a result of the tutoring provided and is not held responsible for academic success or otherwise of the student.

Termination

This agreement can be terminated by mutual consent at any time with one week notice.

Whole Agreement

This agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties with regard to the subject matter thereof and the parties waive the right to rely on any alleged expressed or implied provision not contained herein. Any alteration to this agreement must be in writing and signed by both parties.
